The new Skywalk(optional) of Grand Canyon West is here, with excellent view of the Colorado River 4000 feet below, plus picnic tables and a barbecue cookout(included). During winter visits, the visibility is much better at West Rim, unlike the South Rim of Grand Canyon where poor visibility from snow happens frequently. Return to Vegas at about 6pm.

South Rim: Grand Canyon 277 miles long, about 1 mile deep. South Rim is managed by the National Park service, with grand views and broad perspectives from the designated tourist viewpoints. South Rim is about 4.5 hours drive from Las Vegas one way, which gives us about 1.5 hours in the park, considering the safe and legal operating hours for the driver. Summer visits are cooler and not as populated as the West Rim, but winter visits are not recommended due to frequent rain or snow and poor visibility.
