Day 1 - Depart from the U.S.A.
Depart from the U.S.A. to Tokyo, Japan. Cross the International Date Line en route and lose one day.
Day 2 - Arrival Tokyo
Upon arrival, meet our local travel assistant who will assist you in boarding the airport bus and transfer to your hotel for rest.
Day 3 - Tokyo
Tokyo Morning Tour - Visit Tokyo Tower, Imperial Palace Plaza, Akihabara (drive through), Asakusa Kannon Temple, Nakamise Shopping Arcade, and drive through Ginza. Sending service to your hotel is offered by Tasaki Pearl Gallery. The rest of the day is free.
Day 4 - Tokyo - Mt. Fuji - Hakone – Tokyo
Depart from hotel for Mt. Fuji & Hakone tour (seat in coach). Visit Fuji Visitor Center, Mt. Fuji 5th station, take a cruise on Lake Ashi, and visit Mt. Komagatake. After sightseeing in Hakone, transfer to Odawara station and board JR super express to Tokyo station. *No drop off service to your hotel. Our guide will provide information for returning to your hotel.*
Day 5 - Tokyo – Beijing
Fly to China- Beijing. Upon arrival, meet your local guide and transfer to your hotel for rest.
Day 6 - Beijing
This morning, walk in Tian'anmen Square, the largest public square in the world, and visit the Imperial Palace (Gugong), the once Forbidden City, with its over 9,000 elaborately carved and colorfully painted rooms, gardens, theaters, temples and exhibition galleries that was the home of Chinese emperors for almost 500 years and a testament of imperial China's splendor and lavishness. Then, visit the scenic grounds of the Summer Palace (Yiheyuan), whose apartments feature jewel-encrusted furniture and precious objects. Enjoy one of China's three greatest gardens. This evening, enjoy the Legend of Kung Fu performance.
Day 7 - Beijing
Today, visit one of the "Eighth" Wonders of the World, the great fortification built to prevent invasion by barbarians -- the magnificent Great Wall. Walk on this "Wall of 10,000 Miles," which took 10 years and more than a million laborers to build, and look out from the highest point, at the fort Bada Hill, from where enemy attacks were signaled to the capital by beacon fires. In the afternoon, visit the imperial tombs of the Ming Dynasty, where thirteen of the sixteen Ming emperors are buried. Tonight we will serve the renowned Peking Duck Feast.
Day 8 - Beijing - Xi’an
This morning, fly to the ancient capital of 11 dynasties of China - Chang'an (now Xi'an), rich in historical sites. During the Tang Dynasty, Chang'an was the largest city of the world, the starting point of the Silk Road. On arrival, meet and transfer to your hotel. Afternoon tour including Big Wild Goose Pagoda & Provincial Museum.
Day 9 - Xi’an
Today we’ll view the astonishing army of the life sized Terracotta Warriors that have been standing guard by the tomb of the Emperor Qin Shi Huang for over 2,000 years. This evening, you will be treated with Dumping Dinner & Tang Dynasty Performance.
Day 10 - Xi’an – Shanghai
Transfer for your flight to Shanghai. Meet local guide at airport and transfer to your hotel. Free at leisure for your own exploration.
Day 11 - Shanghai
Visit the 16th-century Garden of Joy (Yu Garden) with its zigzagging bridges. Also, experience the old world ambiance of the waterfront Bund, followed by Jade Buddha Temple. In the evening, we will attend an acrobatic show.
Day 12 - Shanghai - U.S.A.
Bid China Farewell and transfer to airport for your flight back home.
