Day 01   U.S.A. - Lisbon (Portugal)

We take the overnight flight to the capital of Portugal, Lisbon, and start our exciting 9 days tour.

Day 02   Lisbon

Upon arrival in Lisbon, we shall visit the Sunny Coast and its beaches, villages. Later on, we proceed to the Discovery Monument, 16th century’s Belem Tower before going back to the city for the marvelous view of the Tagus River.

Day 03   Lisbon - Seville (Spain)

We leave Lisbon in the morning and proceed to Seville, located in the Southeast of Spain. We will cross the border to this Moorish city and start our sightseeing tour featuring the dramatic Seville Cathedral, Plaza Espana, Murillo Park, the Jewish Quarter of Santa Cruz, the colorful Maria Luisa Park, and the Giralda Tower. Tonight, an optional traditional Flamenco Dance will be arranged.

Day 04   Seville – Granada

Proceed south to the 14th century Nazari Kingdom of Granada, a place of ancient and mystery. During the journey, we shall have an unforgettable view of gypsy cave dwellings on the hills. The tour will begin with a city tour when arrival in Granada, including Alhambra and the Generalife Garden. Alhambra, a series of palaces and gardens built under the Nazari Dynasty in the 14th Century. This mighty compound of buildings – including the summer palace called Generalife, with its fountains and gardens.

Day 05   Granada - Toledo – Madrid

Today, we will drive to ancient Toledo to visit the Jewish Synagogue and more. The Cathedral, the monastery of Saint John of the Kings, the doors and the walled enclosure or the Alcazar portray the special attractiveness of its streets and plazas. They surround the traveler with an enchantment as Becquer or Galdos described, and El Greco portrayed in his paintings. Then we shall embark to Madrid.

Day 06   Madrid

After breakfast, the in depth city tour in Madrid – the capital of Spain will be started. We will visit the Royal Palace, Puerta del Sol, Cibeles Fountain and Plaza Espana. Later on, we will visit the world famous Prado Art Gallery with its masterpieces.

Day 07   Madrid – Valencia

After breakfast our tour will drive along the coastline to Valencia, once a royal capital and now a sunny garden city surrounded by orange groves. Orientation starts with a delightful drive past landmarks such as the Town Hall, La Lonja Cathedral, and the massive gateway towers of Serranos and Quart.

Day 08   Valencia – Barcelona

Barcelona – the second biggest city and also is the city of Gaudi and the capital of Catalonia. A panoramic drive will take us to all the most important sights of the city: the Rambla Street, Catalonian Square, Columbus Monument at the pier, the 1992 Summer Olympic Site, Gaudi’s stunningly unique and still unfinished Holy Family Church (outside photo shot only).

Day 09   Barcelona - U.S.A.

Today is the last day of our in depth Spain tour.　After breakfast, we will transfer to the airport for　flight back to U.S.A.
